AM vows to keep up Brymbo Post Office fight

CLWYD SOUTH AM KEN SKATES has vowed to do all he can to ensure a new location is found for Brymbo Post Office.

Labour AM Mr Skates has been in regular contact with Post Office bosses since the village lost its branch in early May – and is hopeful he’ll soon have good news for his constituents.

Mr Skates said: “I understand talks are progressing well with an interested party and the Post Office hopes to be able to progress to the interview stage in the next few weeks.

“If the applicant is successful, I am hopeful work would begin immediately to restore this vital service to the Brymbo community.

“I have been liaising regularly with the relevant people over the past few months to make sure everything possible is done to bring back Post Office services to the village, and I can assure my constituents I will continue to do all I can to make it happen.”
